Syracuse Law and the Northern District of New York Federal Court Bar Association are partnering to establish a new scholarship in memory of The Hon. Norman A. Mordue '66, L'71.

The NDNY FCBA Hon. Norman A. Mordue '66, L'71 Law Scholarship will provide Syracuse Law students with the means to pursue a legal education and follow in the footsteps of Judge Mordue, a decorated war hero who served as a United States District Judge for the Northern District of New York from 1998 through 2022, including service as chief judge, and taught trial practice for several years at the College of Law as an adjunct professor.

Preference will be given to scholarship applicants with a military background.
