The Syracuse University Athletics mission is to create and foster a culture of academic and athletic excellence, which prepares student-athletes as leaders in our global society.

Gifts to the Athletics Opportunity Fund or a sport-specific Head Coach's Fund positively impact the experience of our student-athletes through resources like academic services, student-athlete development, health & welfare programs, nutrition, strength & conditioning, sports medicine and diversity and inclusion initiatives.

The new Athletics Competitive Excellence giving option launched in 2025 will maximize revenue-sharing opportunities for Syracuse University student-athletes and strengthen our athletic programs’ ability to recruit, retain and develop elite talent to build championship-caliber programs.
